Organised by Seaford Strider, Martin Bulger, and originally known as the Seaford 10k, this event was renamed and moved to a new venue in 2008. Starting and finishing in the grounds of Newlands School, the 10k makes its way out of the town and over and around picturesque High and Over and the river Cuckmere on the boundary of Seaford, with its spectacular view of the White Horse cut into the chalk of the hillside.There is an extensive
prize list including several team categories and there are special
awards to all finishers.
And for those who wish to wimp out of the full challenge, there is also a 4km event, and a 1km run for the under 10's.
