SEAFORD STRIDERS organises one major local race, the highly recommended Mince Pie 10 which is held in December each year. Details of this very popular event can be found on its own page on the left.
However there are a few other races held locally, which we also like to support and may be of interest.
cuckmere house challenge

Newlands 10k

Please note that owing to other commitments, this event will be postponed for 2009. Look out for its return in 2010.
seaford marathon
This event which starts and finishes at Seaford Fire Station and covers over 26 miles of the surrounding terrain, is organised by Seaford Strider and local fire fighter, Tom Glandfield and fellow Strider, Gary Hatcher, and raises money for the Fire Fighters Charity and Medecins Sans Frontieres.
