There are two main Grand Prix Competitions that SEAFORD STRIDERS takes an active part in. The Club Grand Prix, which is only open to Club members, and The Sussex Road Racing Grand Prix, which involves most of the running clubs in Sussex. The Club's Grand Prix Representative is Richard Honeyman who keeps and maintains all the records and league tables for the Striders. You can email him using the link attached to his name.

SGP Team 2005This consists of a number of Sussex road races held throughout the year, with points awarded based on each individual's finishing position. Your best 8 races are used to determine your final position (of which at least two must be 10 miles or longer). There is an extensive prize list, with trophies awarded at the end of the year based on gender and age category. There is also a team competition in which every club members finishing position can have an effect on the final outcome.

club grand prix

This internal Club competition is based around the same events as the Sussex Grand Prix, with the inclusion of three additional local races. The other difference is that participants only need to complete 6 events to qualify (of which one must be 10 miles or above)
