Autumn Equinox Run

A Seaford Striders organised 5K fun Autumn Equinox race along Seaford Seafront.

5k & 2.5K (for Juniors) summer Equinox fun run

Seaford Striders have organised a fun Autumn club race following the success of the Summer Solstice that took place this summer. We had 96 runners this summer and we’re keen to break the 100 barrier this time, it is also a great opportunity to meet fellow Striders who you may not see on the normal WNS.

We will be putting the event into the Club Grand Prix so we will expect a bumper turnout again.

We will of course require the services of volunteers to help with marshalling, timing and number distribution so if you would like to help out then please put your name forward.

WHEN?

It will take place on Wednesday September 22nd 2021 with a prompt 6:30 pm start.

WHERE?

As usual it will take place over the 5k Seaford Beach Parkrun course and a 2.5K race for the juniors will also be held. The 5k race is along the Seaford seafront from the Sailing club to beyond the Martello tower and back – a distance of 5K.

How to enter?

If you would like to enter please email Graham at gmtdcjones@gmail.com with your name and the event you are entering 5k or 2.5k so numbers can be allocated accordingly.

Why Join a Running Club?

There are many benefits to joining a running club here just a few reasons:

Meet like-minded people

Make lots of friends with people you already have running in common with and you can talk with people who understand your running interest/obsession! (blistered feet and all!)

Improve your running

You will always find someone who can run a little faster than you to be able to chase after. Organised sessions with interval training are designed to push you a little bit each week.

Support & Motivation

You will not only have your own personal bunch of cheerleaders but those days when you lack motivation become alot easier when there are others going out and getting it done and encouraging you. Just knowing other people will be there can make all the difference in lacing up your shoes and getting out that door!

One run can change your day, many runs can change your life.
