Our WNS groups have been really well supported and a huge thanks to everyone for turning out in such great numbers also a big thanks to all those who have led groups.
Please read the group details carefully as there are changes to some groups for Wednesday evenings runs.
We have received very positive feedback about the variety of routes since we started rotating the start points for groups.
This is something that we will continue to do, if you have any suggestions for future starts and routes then please let the group leaders know, we are always looking for new opportunities.
If you have any queries about the groups regarding pace, distance etc please contact the group leaders or email secretary@seafordstriders.org.uk and I will pass it on.

So the long dark evenings are upon us and our run routes will be more limited but it doesn’t mean we can’t still have fun.
Please remember though that safety is paramount, Hi Viz clothing and lights please.

The last week has seen Striders turn out in force in a variety of events.

First the Autumn Equinox, a great turnout from both Senior and Junior Striders on what was a perfect evening, a glorious sunset and a fly past by a Spitfire and Hurricane (I’ve already contacted the Red Arrows to see if they are free next year).

It seemed to be almost perfect conditions as several Striders set new PB’s and a very exciting 5k race with Rowan just edging out Joel in fantastic times.

A huge thanks to all the runners for turning out and of course it wouldn’t be possible without the assistance of so many other Striders, so thank you to everyone who gave up their time to help out.

Yesterday saw Striders tackling the Barns Green Half Marathon as part of the Club Grand Prix, some very notable performances from Ollie, Phill, Nick, Steve, Jeff, Amanda with PB’s being set yet again. We had Sally and Les at the Great Northiam Run, David in Manchester and Finally Roly representing Team GBR in Valencia for the weekends Triathlon.

Well done to all Striders!
