Important changes to this week – read carefully

Please read the group details carefully as there are changes to all groups for 2nd June evenings runs.

We are still looking forward to having our normal runs just that due to the ring road closure in Newhaven 3 of the groups will be starting at earlier times.
These start times will probably continue until the work on the ring road is completed, scheduled to be July 10th however please check the weekly email for updates.
We are really sorry if the times are too early for you however we appreciate that we have lots of members from the Newhaven and Peacehaven area and don’t want them to miss out.

With a forecast of 20c and a SE wind of 5 mph it promises to be a pleasant but warm evening out on the trails, remember to keep yourself hydrated.

If you have any queries about the groups regarding pace, distance etc please contact the group leaders or email secretary@seafordstriders.org.uk and I will pass it on.

Please read the following carefully.

One for the diary, on Sunday June 6th we will be having another Striders social bike ride. Suitable for MTB, Hybrid and Gravel bikes leaving Martello tower at 8:30 am the route will be similar to our last outing with a Coffee and Cake stop at East Dean approx 20 miles.  Taking in Friston Forest, SDW to Warren Hill then down to Cornish Farm, across to Birling Gap then East Dean and back down through the Forest. All are welcome, it will be a leisurely pace and no one will be left behind. Group leaders will keep a record of all the people in their groups so we can maintain the requirements of our Covid-19 Risk Assessment and Action Plan. Details of our Covid-19 Risk assessment are available here. Please read carefully and make sure you’re social distancing.

Seaford Striders Running Club is affiliated with England Athletics and operates under its guidance.

We hope that everyone is enjoying their return to WNS and that we continue to give all our new members a hearty welcome and in true Striders tradition remember “No one gets left behind”.
