Junior Striders

Seaford Striders has a thriving Junior Striders club suitable for all abilities. Our goal is for our Juniors to enjoy exercise and develop a love for running in a beneficial and structured way. Any Junior who wishes to pursue a more serious, competitive approach will still be fully supported, but the main focus is on having fun. Junior Striders is supported by qualified Coaches, Coaching Assistants and Parent Helpers – all trained by England Athletics.

Our Juniors meet on Tuesday evenings between 6-6.45 pm. During the Summer this is at the Salts Park in Seaford. During the Winter (and weather dependent) this is at Cradle Hill School, Seaford.

Juniors is open to children from Year One and we have members of varying ages, all the way up to 18.  Our younger groups are designed around movement skills, running games and encouraging self-confidence and teamwork. Our older groups take these skills to the next level with guided runs around Seaford.

As we need to maintain a safe balance between our junior groups and our wonderful helpers there are some age groups with a waiting list.

Please contact us to see if there is space for you/your child. You can join for a free trial session before choosing whether to sign up.
