Please read the group details carefully as there are changes to some groups for Wednesday evenings runs.

We are still looking forward to having our normal runs just that due to the ring road closure in Newhaven 3 of the groups will be starting at earlier times.
These start times will probably continue until the work on the ring road is completed, scheduled to be July 10th however please check the weekly email for updates.
We are really sorry if the times are too early for you however we appreciate that we have lots of members from the Newhaven and Peacehaven area and don’t want them to miss out.
With a warm evening forecast but possible thunderstorms tomorrow who knows what we will end up with in the evening, but take care and stay hydrated.

If you have any queries about the groups regarding pace, distance etc please contact the group leaders or email secretary@seafordstriders.org.uk and I will pass it on.

Please read the following carefully.

Last week saw the annual Striders Summer Solstice run, with 95 Striders taking part.
There were some amazing performances and lots of PB’s set.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated and those who helped organise and stage the event.
It was great that in true Striders tradition that so many stayed to cheer everyone home, also a fantastic effort by the C25K graduates.

The juniors also turned out in force and again provided some excellent times.

I was hoping to finalise the results but I am still waiting for several people to respond with the age category that they ran in.
So please if you haven’t responded to the request for your age category could you please do so then we can distribute the medals.

This afternoon I emailed out details of the Striders Day Out where we will take on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge.
Since sending out the email we have already had people booking their places.

This promises to be a fantastic club outing, tiring yet rewarding so don’t delay and book your place.

Group leaders will keep a record of all the people in their groups so we can maintain the requirements of our Covid-19 Risk Assessment and Action Plan. Details of our Covid-19 Risk assessment are available here. Please read carefully and make sure you’re social distancing.

Seaford Striders Running Club is affiliated with England Athletics and operates under its guidance.

We hope that everyone is enjoying their WNS and it’s great to see our group numbers growing and the club’s membership thriving. Please do not hesitate to bring along guests to WNS as it is a great way to introduce someone to the club. “No one gets left behind”.
